All I wanted to eat while I was pregnant -- French fries, deep-fried, and golden-brown. Gave me heart-burn every time, too! Why, for some potat-oh! I would gladly traverse to the depths of the earth!

Ooooh, potatoes! I am a self-proclaimed potato whore. The last recipe I tried was "Bubble and Squeak" from the Serious Eats blog. Too hungry to stop to take pictures. I am currently working on a piece about my hunt for the best home fries in Ithaca. So far, I only have candidates for the worst. You are lucky to have many more options in San Fran.

My wife it totally mad for potatoes, and this seems like a recipe she'd really enjoy. And so simple, too! Thanks for posting it.

I come from a long line of potato lovers, but have never really worked at developing any real skill with cooking them. I'm looking forward to trying this with your directions. Thanks.
