Do consider the week-long beginning intensive classes. They are great fun and you learn a lot. People do come from out of town so it is worth checking out. I am looking forward to one of the advanced intensive classes this year.

Marc, Kalyn, Joan, and anyone else living beyond the bay: Kasma offers week-long intensive classes in the summertime. The beginning series are full for this year, but the '09 dates will be announced in the fall. Check this page for sign-up information.

That does, indeed, sound wonderful and the cost is very reasonable. Wish I was in the Bay area. Motivates me to look for something similar in Portland.

I read your post yesterday about Kasma, and immediately signed up for the yahoo group; as soon as I got the class schedule e-mail today (like, within 30 seconds) I signed up for one of the beginner classes!
