		<description>I admire you for trying this; I may give it a shot myself once I start getting my CSA box next month. Obviously it would be ridiculous in Pittsburgh in April, although I gather that 100-mile couple who did it for a year were Canadian. Let&#039;s face it, once upon a time, we all lived that way, no matter what part of the country we were in. That&#039;s why oranges in the toe of Christmas stockings were such a treat.</description>

		<description>Yeah, avocados are pretty much a year-round crop for us here. But actually, I think we&#039;d fare pretty well in Seattle, as I like late winter/early spring veggies quite a lot. Potatoes, apples, golden roots... plus plenty of cheese, mushrooms, seafood, salami, and hardy greens, none of which are particularly seasonal. But yeah, you guys are now where we were in February -- and some parts of the country are under frost yet. This is an understandable complaint about the timing of this challenge...</description>
