A fab combination. We used to frequent a place in Brooklyn that served Guinness milkshakes. We were apprehensive at first, but they were delicious.

thanks, Sam... It's good to be back in sf. Can't say as I've ever developed the taste for marmite, but I did read about them using Guinness yeast.	The stout seems a better use, to me :)

Hi Anita - I never did reply to your last email so here I am belatedly saying welcome home and wishing you good strength for the future.

Stout should help with that.

Did you hear about the Guiness marmite?
Tenuously related to this post I guess...?

xx

I'm sure that was their inspiration. And yes, Guinness floats are delish. But the "head" of ice cream is so darned cute! :)

Kudos to Ben&Jerry, but I'll stick with a Guinness float: 2 big scoops of quality vanilla ice cream in a pint of Guinness.

I'd have to say, as a stout-and-porter lover, this is a pretty worthy application. And I'm not generally a fan of sweets.

This is either going to make me the happiest, fattest person in the world or so sad at the mistreatment of a good stout.
