I bought the 5 dollar bag of roots too! Tossed with rosemary and olive oil and roasted in a pan with mustard crusted sirloin!

This sounds so good! I never thought of doing a root veg combo soup. I made minestrone last week and used boxed chix and beef stock, so there, you’re not alone–(and I don’t have the laundry-room/kitchen excuse)!

I saw those bags of root veggies too (it’s like we shop at the same market or something). I think I’ll have to buy one this weekend and make soup! I even have the Eatwell rosemary salt. Too bad I killed off my windowbox thyme plant last summer…
