I did a LOT of research, and the Cuisinart gets the best reviews for the kinds of stuff we'll be making. We've been through a kitchen remodel before, and survived -- and that was when we were doing most of the work ourselves! And yes, Cookie... paper plates are definitely on the list of provisions! I can roast a chicken, make pizzas, you name it.
